Sales Manager

Creative Waste Solutions is entering an exciting new phase of growth.
As one of the UK's leading independent waste management brokerages, we provide nationwide solutions for bulk waste movements, recycling, haulage, commodity trading and total waste management.
With a rapidly expanding client base and ambitious growth plans, we're seeking an exceptional Sales Manager to lead, mentor and develop our Business Development team.
The Role
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take ownership of the sales function, driving performance, coaching Business Development Managers and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and operational excellence.
You'll lead from the front while creating a high-performance culture across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor and develop a team of Business Development Managers
- Drive revenue growth across key markets
- Develop and implement sales strategies
- Monitor KPIs, pipeline, forecasting and conversion metrics
- Support major client acquisition and key account development
- Collaborate with operations, transport and senior leadership
- Identify new market opportunities and growth sectors
About You
Essential Experience
- Proven sales leadership experience
- Strong background within waste management, recycling, haulage or environmental services
- Demonstrated success managing field-based BDM teams
- Track record of exceeding revenue targets
- Excellent coaching, mentoring and leadership skills
- Strong commercial and financial insight
Desirable Experience
- Waste brokerage or bulk waste movement expertise
- Deep understanding of UK waste legislation and market trends
- Existing industry network
